CYCLING IN CORBRIDGE AND NORTHUMBERLAND
Stanners Studio is well located for people looking for a short stay-over whilst cycling the Hadrian's Cycleway along Hadrian's Wall. The Studio has a sturdy cycle storage box with an alarmed lock - the key will be in the keybox with the studio key.
If you get really stuck we can provide a puncture repair kit and basic bike tools. There's a bike repair station on Watling Street in the village provided by Hexham charity Cycling Minds. They offer bike repairs and bike hire also.
Bike repairs are also available in Prudhoe from what used to be the Bike Repairman and seems to have been re-branded as Giant Newcastle.
WALKING AROUND CORBRIDGE
To walk to the village turn right out of the drive and then left in about 50 yards through the wood. This short-cut takes you to the south end of the bridge.
There are some beautiful Heritage Trails around Corbridge. Free leaflets are available from the Corbridge Heritage Centre in Princes Street, Corbridge Library in Hill Street and Forum Books in Market Place and you can download the PDF version here or an image here.
HOW ELSE WE CAN HELP
As well as providing somewhere warm and comfortable to stay and safe storage for your bike we can help in other little ways. If we're around we can offer a clothes wash and provide drying rack in the studio on request and old newspaper to dry shoes out. Cycling in Northumberland is spectacular but we can't promise it's always going to be dry.

If you need somebody to take your bags onto your next destination we'd recommend Hadrian's Haul who are based in Corbridge and offer a reliable and reasonable service.
You can arrive at any time after 3pm as late into the night as you like with self service check in via the key box and you can leave as early in the morning as you need to.
The bed in the studio is a king size but with advance notice it can be split into two singles - perfect for two friends cycling the wall together.
